Privacy Policy

Effective Date: May 9, 2026 | Your privacy is our priority.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: information you provide, information we collect automatically, and information from third parties.

  • Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and company name.
  • Usage Data: We collect information about your interactions with the Service, including IP addresses, browser types, and navigation paths (using PostHog and Sentry).
  • Lead Discovery Data: We store the keywords and products you use to search for leads. This data is essential for our AI to learn your preferences.
  • Payment Information: All payment data is collected and processed by our reseller, **Paddle.com**. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.

2. Third-Party Data (Social Signals)

Flotense retrieves public signals from social media platforms. We only process data that has been made "publicly available" by users of those platforms.

  • We use Google API Services to retrieve public YouTube comments.
  • We use third-party scrapers (SocialData/ScraperAPI) to retrieve public signals from Twitter and Reddit.
  • We do not store private messages (DMs) or non-public user data.

3. How We Use and Share Information

We use your information to provide, maintain, and improve the Flotense discovery engine. We **do not sell** your personal data to third parties.

We may share information with:

  • Service Providers: Cloud infrastructure (Vercel), databases (Prisma/Postgres), and analytics (PostHog).
  • Legal Requirements: If required by law to comply with a legal process or government request.

4. Data Security & Retention

We implement robust SSL encryption and follow industry best practices to protect your data. We retain your information only as long as necessary to provide you with the Service or as required by law. Upon account termination, we delete all personal account data within 30 days.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies to maintain your session and understand your usage patterns. You can control cookie settings in your browser, but disabling them may prevent the Flotense Terminal from functioning correctly.

6. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may also object to processing or request data portability. To exercise these rights, please contact our privacy officer.
